Damp Kozo Fiber for Handmade Paper
This damp kozo fiber is prepared from the bark of mulberry trees and is ideal for traditional hand papermaking, paper art, and fiber-based craft projects. The fiber has already been cooked, cleaned, and bleached, making it easier to prepare for sheet forming.
Each bag contains 250g of damp kozo fiber. Depending on the thickness of your paper, one bag can make approximately 30 sheets of 4 × 6 in / 10 × 15 cm handmade paper.
To use, soak the fiber in water and hand-beat it with a hammer until the fibers are well separated. You may also process it with a blender or another suitable mixer before forming sheets with a mould and deckle.
